PETG, Glycol Modified version of Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET), mainly use for water bottles. It is a semi-rigid material with good impact resistance, but it has a softer surface which makes it prone to wear. PETG also has great thermal characteristics, allow the plastic to cool with almost negligible warpage. There are several variations of this material in the market including PETG, PETE, and PETT.

PETG has and high impact strength and outstanding toughness. It also has high mechanical strength and excellent flexibility. Compared to PVC, PETG has high transparency, good luster, easy to print, and has the advantage of environmental protection.

PETG combines the advantages of PLA and ABS plastic. It has a good thermal resistance and a surface glossy. Meanwhile, it is easy to use and has no clog in printing.
